The Larchmont Yacht Club is the oldest Yacht Club in America, founded in 1880. It remains one of Long Island Sound’s most prestigious sailing clubs, with a large membership going back generations, a famed race week, and a beautiful waterfront facility. In between club use, the clubs massive outdoor saltwater pool has been fed from the sound since its inception. Current and proposed upgrades to the club’s facilities and more stringent DOH regulations initiated actions to conceive a new master plan for the club property, expansion of its building facilities,  and code-upgrade of the pool. TBA led the master plan efforts in partnership with Stoll & Stoll Architects.

After negotiating TBA's fee for the project, an intense research and analysis effort was undertaken to assess the current level of service provided within and around the pool and its facilities. Clear, concise visuals were used to support the proposed design changes. I input on cost estimations by others, managed the client and design schedules, produced and attended all client presentations, and led in-house production efforts including collaboration with rendering professionals in China.
